The Black Satellites of Ghana held their maiden training session in Benin on Sunday morning in preparation for the WAFU U20 Tournament.
Ghana landed in Niger on Saturday evening after jetting off from Ghana around 16:00GMT.
The team after undergoing all COVID-19 tests and observing all the protocols were bussed to their base in Cotonou, the Benin capital.
Ghana could not train at their original training base allocated by the LOC but leadership made swift arrangements to enable to team hold their first training at the St. Louis Stadium in Krake.
Coach Karim Zito after the team’s first training spoke to FOOTBALLMADEinghana.com about the team’s preparation and expectations.
The Satellites will play their first game on Wednesday by taking in their Nigerian counterparts.
