Ghana’s U-20 Male side, the Black Satellites have left the country for Benin on Saturday.
The team are set for participation in the 2020 WAFU Zone B U-20 championship which will serve as a qualifier for the 2021 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations.
The team left with a contingent comprising 27 players, 8 technical team members, 2 management members and one national team coordinator.
Ghana has been housed in the same group as Nigeria and Ivory Coast. The tournament started on Saturday December 5 but the Black Satellites will play their first game on December 9 against Nigeria before facing Ivory Coast on December 12.
