Legon Cities defender Nicholas Mensah has fired a strong warning to Dreams FC ahead of their clash at the Theatre of Dreams on Sunday.
Despite not winning a game in their last three outings, Mensah is convinced his side is set to pick their first win at the Theatre of Dreams.
Speaking to the team’s media ahead of the clash, Mensah noted the team is prepared for the clash and are determined to end their winless run.
“We are very prepared together as a team. We have worked hard all week and ready for the game on Saturday. It will be tough but I believe in my team-mates that we will push for the win against a tough Dreams FC side. I am happy to be back after some few weeks out. I miss the game a lot and I am ready should the coach fall on me to start.”
Mensah swept aside talks of pressure despite his side not winning a game and said his side will only hope for luck to carry the day.
“No, I don’t think so. There is no pressure at all, we will just go there and play our normal game and pray for luck to be on our side and then surely we will grab the three points.”
The hardworking defender however insisted that the absence of fans from the stands has been a huge factored affecting the game.
“Of course, yeah. We will love to see the fans always and their support is very key for us but this is the reality now, so we will continue to play and make them happy wherever they are.”
“Yeah, I am very confident just like the rest of my team-mates. It is possible and we need to psyche ourselves on this,” he added.
