Asante Kotoko’s Brazilian import Fabio Dos Santos Gama is yet to take the field in any recognized fixture for the club, but is already leading dangerous ‘assaults’ at training.

The Brazilian has shown he is nicely settling into the team culture and bonding well with teammates as a hilarious and lovely footage of a training ground incident has surfaced on the internet.

Tuesday December 1, 2020 was Asante Kotoko winger, Emmanuel Gyamfi’s birthday and the club’s CEO Nana Yaw Amponsah decided to surprise him with a birthday cake.

A presentation was made to the player after training session by the club’s communications director Moses Antwi Benefo on behalf of the CEO who also conveyed well wishes to the long serving Asante Kotoko deputy skipper.

A surprised and excited Gyamfi however was clearly ‘dealt’ with by his colleagues who made certain that he was drenched in water and also face-painted with the icing on the cake.

Amid the fun and the buzz around this development, Fabio Gama scored a goal from the flanks. The attacker is seen skillfully taking his share of the cake and in one big attempt buried the morsel through his mouth in stunning fashion.

Hopefully he can bury balls into the net like he did in the video.

Also seen busily enjoying the cake are Head Coach Maxwell Konadu, goalkeeper Kwame Baah, Kwame Poku and others.

Certainly this is the perfect mood as Kotoko prepare for their crunch CAF Champions League decider against FC Nouadhibou.

Kotoko take a 1-1 away result into the match which takes place on Saturday at the Accra Sports Stadium.
