Black Queens completed the double over their Morrocan counterparts following a 2-0 victory on Monday in an international friendly game at the Accra Sports Stadium.
A quick first half double from Sandra Owusu Ansah was enough to give Ghana the comfortable win.
Ghana started the game very well and dominated the early stages of the game.
It didn’t take long before the Black Queens took the lead.
A cross from Grace Animah on the 10th minute found Sandra Owusu Ansah who made no mistake by putting the ball at the back of the net.
Sandra added the second four minute later, connecting beautifully from Elizabeth Addo to doubled her side’s lead.
Ghana kept putting a lot of pressure on the Morrocans as they struggled to find their feat.
Elizabeth Addo nearly made it 3-0 in 38th minute but her efforts was parried away by the goalkeeper.
After the recess, the Morrocans lifted their performance as they looked to reduce the deficit.
Ghana on the other hand created several scoring opportunities but couldn’t convert it to add to their lead.
Elizabeth Addo, Grace Animah and Alice Kusi all came close to scoring but a wonderful goalkeeping from Khadijah denied the Queens.
No goal was scored in the second half as Black Queens maintained their 2-0 lead till the blast of the full-time whistle.
