Legon Cities assistant coach Wahid Mohammed says the club only needs Asamoah Gyan to be 50% fit to win the Ghana Premeir League.
The Royals have had a difficult start to the Ghana Premier League failing to win any of their three games so far.
Cities have lost one and drawn two games out of the their three opening games.
Big name signing Asamoah Gyan finally made his bow for the club against Medeama on Friday coming on in the 72nd minute Raphael Ocloo.
Gyan showed some brilliance but could not inspire his team to pick their maiden maximum points as the match ended goalless.
Speaking to the media after the game, stop-gap coach Wahid Mohammed expressed his delight with Gyan performance and vowed to win the league with 50% fit Asamoah Gyan.
“He was super. You could see that all the touches he had were fantastic. He had a positive game but we should expect more from him. He will lose some few pounds.”
“He is only 30% fit that’s why he started from the bench. When we get him even 50% we will win the league, trust me”
Legon Cities will face Dreams FC in matchday four of the Ghana Premeir League.
