Legon Cities attacker Asamoah Gyan is confident the club will find their feat very soon after their goalless draw with Medeama.
The former Sunderland striker made his bow in the Ghana Premier League for Legon Cities seventeen years since he made his debut for Liberty Professionals.
After Gyan’s introduction, he spurred the Cities players on but the chances he created was not converted by his teammates as the game finished in a 0-0 stalemate.
Speaking after the game, the legendary Ghana striker said “We are hoping that our next game we will win and make the fans happy. They need the wins and I hope just soon and soon.”
“I am very much excited to be back home. This is where the name, Asamoah Gyan started and it feels great to play in the league again after 17 years.’ Gyan added
“I am very much satisfied with the game tonight. It’s a positive one. We need to approach the next game with this same mentality and I believe soon the wins will come.”
Legon Cities will face Dreams FC in matchday four of the Ghana Premeir League.
