Legendary striker Asamoah Gyan marked his return to the Ghana Premier League for the first time in 17 years after a second half appearance for Legon Cities in their goalless stalemate with Medeama SC.
The 35 year old joined the Royals in October and was deemed not fit enough to begin the season due to a long period of inactivity.
Gyan entered the game in the Match Week 3 encounter around the 70th minute.
It marked the first time Gyan played in a premier league game since 2003 when he left the scene for Udinese in Italy.
Gyan however failed to make an impact as the game ended goalless.
His side Legon Cities are still searching for their first win of the campaign.
They have accumulated a paltry 2 points from a possible 9 so far this season
