Ghanaian international Thomas Boakye has been handed a new contract with Halmstads BK following another successful with the club.

Boakye  penned a two year contract extension with the club following a season which saw then qualified to the top flight league football in Sweden.

He has scored 3 goals in 25 games so far this season for Halmstads BK helping them to seal qualification to the Swedish top flight league next season.

Halmstads BK sealed qualification to top flight football on match day 28 of the campaign with two league games to spare to conclude the Superettan league season.
