Asante Kotoko have jetted off to Mauritania this morning ahead of their Champions League game against Nouadhibou in Mauritania.
Twenty one players, members of the technical team and some management staff made the trip on Wednesday morning in the air force plane.
Conspicuously missing from the squad are captain Felix Annan (injured), defender Habib Mohammed (suspension), and Augustine Okrah (injury).
Meanwhile, the former Black Stars gaffer has dropped Kotoko’s Brazilian import Fabio Dos Santos Gama, and striker Naby Keita.
Razak Abalora who had tested positive for Covid-19 earlier on made the trip after retuning with a negative results.
The Porcupine Warriors are expected to arrive at the Nouadhibou International Airport on Thursday before they continue their journey to Daklet Nouadhibou Region for the big clash on Friday.
