Berekum Chelsea midfield Dynamo Jordan Opoku has stated that both Berekum Chelsea and Kumasi Asante Kotoko sold a very good game on Sunday in Berekum in the match day two fixture in the ongoing Ghana Premier League 2020/2021 season.
A pulsating 1-1 stalemate capped a game that was keenly contested with the home side wrestling for a point in the 96th minute after the Porcupine Warriors had taken a 19th minute lead.
Speaking after the game the former Asante Kotoko Midfielder said, “It was a very big and good game that both sides sold out but Berekum Chelsea did well to get a point here.”
The former Feyernood midfielder applauded the experience and technique of his teammate Emmanuel Clottey in helping the team get a point in the big game in such a big encounter with Asante Kotoko. He said
“When the referee whistled for the free kick I told the other teammates to leave the ball for Emmanuel Clottey to take it because I know how experience and technical Clottey is and it worked to perfection helping us get a point.”
Jordan Opoku came into the game from the bench to help Berekum Chelsea secure a point in the game.
