King Faisal midfielder Frimpong Boateng is unsatisfied with their 1-1 stalemate with Aduana Stars in the Match Day 2 of the Ghana Premier League.
Despite their dominance, Faisal found themselves behind courtesy Yahaya Mohammed’ strike in the 43rd minute.
Frimpong Boateng got the equaliser with a wonderful strike at the edge of the penalty box.
The host had chances to bury the match but their efforts were stopped by the impressive Joseph Addo.
After the game, the midfielder insisted King Faisal deserved better due to the performance they put on the day with Frimpong Boateng insisting his side deserved better.
“It was a good game. I’m very happy with my performance and the team in general.
“We dominated the game and deserved something better.
“Draw isn’t bad but we wanted the maximum points.
“We have improved a lot this season unlike last season,” he added.
“We will keep working hard, we are confident the win will come as long as we keep playing like this.”
King Faisal will face Ashantigold at the Len Clay Stadium in their third game of the season on Sunday.
