Communication Director for Ghana Premier League giant’s Accra Hearts of Oak SC Kwame Opare Addo have retorted that his side is fully ready to combat the Miners in match day 2 of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League.
The Continental Club Masters are yet to play a game in the new season following their inability to undergo their COVID-19 test ahead of the Premier League opener.
The opening game with Aduana Stars was, therefore, cancelled with a new date yet to be announced for the clash.
Despite AshGold having a point from their opening day clash with Karela in a keenly contested clash, that saw the points splitter, the Phobians are optimistic they will have good results against the Miners who have already tested a game.
Speaking in an interview, Opare Addo disclosed that the Rainbow Boys are fully prepared to face Ashanti Gold SC.
“We are currently at our camping base making sure that we will continue with our training for the game against Ashanti Gold.
“No matter how stressful the whole situation has been, we are managing it very well and will make sure that it doesn’t affect our progress,” Opare told OTEC FM
“Everybody is fine, we are ever ready and preparing well for AshGold. We will make sure that we put things in place very well to be able to start well,” he added.
Hearts of Oak will host the Miners at the Accra Sports Stadium on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at exactly 6:00pm.
