Talismanic Eleven Wonders attacker Salifu Ibrahim has sent a warning to teams visiting their home venue this season.
According to him, no team will leave the Nana Ohene Ameyaw Park unscathed as they prepare to play their first home game for the 2020-21 campaign.
Eleven Wonders held title favorites Asante Kotoko to a draw to the shock of many in their first league game. Salifu Ibrahim who was impressive and eventually emerged the game’s MVP believes the performance his side put up is enough warning to their next opponents.
He has warned that no team will leave the Ohene Ameyaw Park with a point, starting with their weekend’s opponent; Ebusua Dwarfs.
“What happened on Sunday evening is warning enough. This season no team will pick a single point at the Ohene Ameyaw Park. All teams will be vanquished there,” Salifu Ibrahim boldly declared in an interview with Kumasi-based Silver FM.
Salifu Ibrahim has attributed the team’s early season form to the quality additions to the playing body and the togetherness in camp. He is confident they can dwell on this to attain a better placing in the current campaign.
“The team work is there and we have also added quality to our playing body. We don’t blame each other for mistake and this togetherness makes me confident that we can achieve something better this season,” Salifu Ibrahim noted.
