West African Football Academy will welcome King Faisal at the WAFA Park on Sunday as they target a bright start to their league campaign.
Playing at home, the Sogakope based club will fancy their chances against a King Faisal side that is yet to find their feet since returning to the Premier League last season.
Not much has changed from the academy club since the suspension of football in March.
Coach Prospeh Nartey has the core of his squad last season and will be hoping to improve his side’s home form this time around.
WAFA were quiet on the transfer market with just two players Michael Kyei Dwamena and Godwin Agbevor coming in.
Faisal on the other hand will be hoping to wipe away last season’s woeful outing by getting their first win in about 21 games in the Ghana Premeir League.
Slaviša Božičić nearly lost his job after failing to win any of the 10 games he managed. The Serbian trainer drew 4 and lost 6 in the process.
Ibrahim Osman who scored 8 goals for the club last season has returned to his parents club Asante Kotoko after the expiration of his loan deal.
But his absence will not be felt as the club has replaced him with former striker Sulley Mohammed from El Kanemi.
The Insha Allah Boys have augmented their squad with the signing of 15 players during the transfer window.
