Legon Cities midfielder Elvis Opoku was named Nasco Man of the match in their opening day draw against Berekum Chelsea on Saturday evening.

The 27 year old marked his Cities debut with an eye-catching performance as the Royals were held to a 1-1 draw at the Accra Sport Stadium.

He joined the club from Aduana Stars on a transfer deadline day move.

Opoku becomes the first player to win the man of the match award in the 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League season.
