Board member of Asante Kotoko Evelyn Nsiah Asare has been elected onto the new Ashanti Regional Football Association Executive Committee.

The firebrand women sports administrator went unopposed for the Women’s Representative slot and went through acclamation, having received the support of all the electorates.

The election was conducted at the ARFA office in Kumasi by officials of the Electoral Commission.

It was supervised by the ARFA Chairman, Osei Tutu Agyemang on Friday 13th November 2020.

In her acceptance speech, Evelyn Nsiah Asare was grateful to the electorates for the confidence reposed in her and pledged to champion the course of women football on the committee.

The Asante Kotoko Board Member asked for the support from the women’s clubs and urged them to remain united so they can push their agenda with a unified voice.
