The Black Stars of Ghana held their first training session at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium on Tuesday evening ahead of the 2022 AFCON Qualifier with Sudan.
The West African giants officially began preparations on Monday in Accra with ten players taking part.
The ten, included captain Andre Ayew, his younger brother Jordan Ayew and Pyramids FC striker John Antwi.
The rest are Emmanuel Lomotey, Afriyie Acquah, Razak Abalora, Tariq Fosu, Kwadwo Amoako, Samuel Owusu and Nicholas Opoku.
However, in a latest update made available on the Ghana FA’s official twitter handle, 6 more players joined the team, taking the total number to 16 before they departed to Cape Coast.
Experienced defender John Boye, Baba Abdul Rahman, Alexander Djiku, Caleb Ekuban, Christopher Nettey and Lawrence Ati Zigi have all reported for camping.
The team departed Accra on Tuesday morning after undergoing the mandatory COVID-19 test.
The team touched down in Cape Coast around noon on Tuesday and held their first training session at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium in the evening.
Second deputy skipper of the side Richard Ofori will join the team on Wednesday to wrap up preparations for the game.
Ghana will face Sudan on Thursday November 12 at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium, before travelling away for the return fixture three days later.
