Coach Slaviša Bozicic will be in charge of King Faisal in the upcoming 2020/21 Ghana Premier League season.
The Serbian trainer joined the Kumasi-based outfit in January and led them team during the botched 2019/20 campaign.
Despite molding the team into one of the most exciting attacking sides, the deficiency in their defense left them exposed as they failed to win a single game before the campaign was suspended as a result of the Coronavirus (Covid-19) crisis.
The 54 year old has however been backed by management of the club after extending his contract for another three years and is now poised to return the Insha Allah boys back to their glory days.
The experienced tactician started his managerial career at FK Milicionar in 1998, who he led for one season.
After Milicionar, from 2003 to 2005, Božičić spent those years as manager of the under-19 team of Red Star Belgrade, with whom he won the Serbian under-19 First League in the 2003–04 season.
He then managed FK Bežanija where he also had success, winning the 2005–06 Serbian First League and getting the club promoted to the Serbian SuperLiga.
After a one season stint at First League of RS club FK Borac Bosanski Šamac, Božičić became the new manager of Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina club FK Modriča.
He had big success with Modriča, winning the club’s historic 2007–08 Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina title.
After leaving Modriča in June 2008, he returned to Bežanija who he managed for one more year.
In 2011, he was in charge of FK Rudar Kakanj, while in 2012, he was the manager of FK Borac Banja Luka, with whom he won the 2011–12 Republika Srpska Cup, and from November 2013 to March 2014, he led FK Slavija Sarajevo.
Two years after getting sacked at Slavija, Božičić held the position of head coach of National Premier League club Montego Bay United from August to December 2016.
After Montego Bay, he had stints at Austrian club FK Borac Vienna and Serbian clubs FK Sinđelić Beograd, FK Jedinstvo Surčin, FK Jagodina Tabane, FK Radnik Surdulica and Bosnian Premier League club NK Čelik Zenica.
