AsanteaAsante Kotoko have been drawn against Mauritanian Champions FC Nouadhibou in the preliminary round of the 2020/2021 CAF Champions League.
CAF on Monday held the draw for the preliminary and first rounds of the Champions League in Cairo, Egypt.
The Porcupine Warriors will travel to Mauritania for the first leg before they play at home for the second leg.
The first leg is scheduled to take place on 27–29 November 2020 whereas the second leg comes off on 4–6 December 2020.
Winner between Asante Kotoko and Nouadhibou will face the winner between Al Hilal Club of Sudan and Vipers of Uganda.
Nouadhibou the current holders of the Mauritanian league have won the domestic title 8 time along with 4 FA Cups.
We start this season CAF Champions League campaign against Mauritanian champions FC Nouadhibou.
