King Faisal midfielder Micheal Akuffo has insisted the club has had the best of preparations ahead of the start of the Ghana Premeir League season.
The ‘Insha Allah’ boys had a terrible season in the 2019/2020 season failing to win any of their 14 games before the league was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
With some few days to the start of the new season, the former Asante Kotoko midfielder believes this season’s preparation is better than what the team had last season.
“Training has been good, a lot of physical training and playing friendly games.
“But I think it’s the best of preparation we have had so far comparing to last season. We are hoping when the season starts, we will be able to take in the matches.
He also talked about how the senior players in the team are faring with the young ones.
“You could see we have about five senior players in the team. So we are trying to help the young ones to settle very well. We have been telling them to relax and when season’s start we will be with them”.
King Faisal will open their season encounter against WAFA in Sogakope.
