Asante Kotoko trainer Maxwell Konadu is satisfied with the fitness level of his players after ending preseason camping in Koforidua.
The Porcupine Warriors have returned to Kumasi after three weeks of intensive training at Koforidua where they played a series of games.
According to the trainer, though they are not at 100% fitness level, they have achieved their aim.
“I think what we have achieved after three weeks preseason is good. We started by building the players on basic endurance, physicals, strength training and others. We have tested our levels and I think it is not bad”
“We are not at 100% but for now I think when there is a league match or any competition we can go in knowing very well that the boys can really do well,” he said.
Asante Kotoko will face Techiman Eleven Wonders in their first game of the 2020/2021 season.
