Evan Adotey is the coach in charge of Tarkwa-based Karela United FC for the upcoming 2020/21 Ghana Premier League season.
The experienced gaffer was appointed following the exit of Enos Adepah before the suspension of the 2019/20 campaign due to the outbreak of coronavirus.
His stupendous coaching career started from Manchester United where he did his internship under legendary Alex Ferguson.
He returned to Ghana as the head of the technical team that commenced the defunct Ajax Academy which produced players like Mubarak Wakaso, Jonathan Mensah, Opoku Agyemang, and many others.
He later became a scout for Aspire Academy, a Qatar based soccer academy that invested in the talent discovery and development of African players.
Coach Adotey is a former Technical Director of Medeama FC after he guided them to Ghana FA Cup trophy for the first time in the history of the club.
He previously handled the National U17 Female national team, the Black Maidens and currently works as the assistant coach of the National Under 20 male football team.
He guided Ghana to the quarter-final of the 2018 Fifa U17 Women’s World Cup in Uruguay.
