Ghanaian striker Anwar Sadat Wahab has completed a move to Sudanese side Al Hilal Obeid from Al Amal Atbara FC, footballmadeinghana.com can exclusively reveal.
The 27-year old striker put pen to paper on Tuesday in a year and a half deal with the Sudanese giants.
The phenomenal striker had his contract expired with Al Amal Atbara but decided to switch camp to Hilal Obeid following the lackadaisical attitude of Atbara to renew his contract.
Sadat’s incredible performance in the league for Atbara catapulted them to fourth spot on the league table, securing for them a slot in next season’s CAF Confederation Cup.
The Ghanaian played 21 league games for his former side and fired 11 goals in the process to get them the ticket to the CAF Confederation Cup.
The good news for the former King Faisal striker, however, is that he will still play in the CAF Confederation Cup since his new side finished 3rd in the league.
His move to Hilal Obeid is the second time he will be playing for the side and the 3rd club in Sudan after stints with Albara Karima, and Al Amal Atbara.
He is expected to announce his goal scoring prowess in the CAF Confederation Cup next season.
