Former Asante Kotoko defender, Emmanuel Agyemang Badu has explained why he declined a contract extension at the club.
The young centre-back parted ways with the club after the expiration of his three-year contract in June this year.
Badu who joined the Porcupines from Phar Rangers in 2018 revealed the renewal offer presented to him by the club was unreasonable hence his decision to look elsewhere.
“I didn’t want to continue with my career in Ghana that’s why I couldn’t register for Kotoko.
“As a young player, I can rate my performance 85% with my stint with Kotoko. Kotoko Offer given to me wasn’t reasonable that’s why I didn’t continue with Kotoko”, Agyeman-Badu told Ashh FM.
“I will wish all the current players of Kotoko the best of luck but I will miss ex Kotoko young chap Mathew Anim Cudjoe”, he added
