German born Ghanaian midfielder Jamie Leweling has been handed his maiden Black Stars call-up for next month’s 2022 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Sudan.
The Greuther Furth star is the only debutant named by Coach C.K Akonnor in his 23-man squad which was announced on Friday.
Ghana will face the Falcons of Jediane at the Cape Coast stadium on November 12 before travelling to Khartoum, five days later for the reverse fixture.
The four time African champions are currently leading group C with six points.
