Head of communications for Asante Kotoko Moses Antwi Benefo has defended the club’s decision to sign Evans Adomako insisting he is a lethal striker.
The Porcupine Warriors last week announced the signing of the attacker from lower-tier side Phar Rangers on a three-year deal.
A sections of the fans were surprised about the signing due to the player’s relatively unknown status in the system.
But speaking to Oyerepa FM on Monday, Antwi Benefo justified why the club decided sign the player insisting he is a goal monger.
“Evans Adomako is a clinical finisher, a proactive goal monger.
“A player who scores at ease. He can’t go drought of goals for 2 to 3 matches.
“He scored 28 goals in the division 2 and division 1 matches he played.” He added
The 23-year-old spent most of his time playing in Belarus for the likes of FC Gomel, Rudar Velenje and NK DDravogre
