Ghanaian attacker Sadat Karim fired Halmstad BK to a 2-1 win over Vasters SK in the Swedish Superettan on Saturday to climax his 28th birthday.

Karim who is celebrating his 28th birthday scored the winner for the club in the 57th minute to propel his side to a hard fought win.

Anders Boman gave Halmstads the lead on the 37th minute, before Viktor Prodell levelled matters for the visitors.

The goal is Sadat third goal of the season with seven assist to his name.

Halmstads are second on the league table with 50 points after 24 games.
