The Ghana Football Association has successfully conducted fitness test for referees in the northern sector of the country ahead of the start of the football season.
The exercise which took place at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium in Tamale saw the selected referees undergoing several physical exercises to test their fitness for the season.
The fitness exercise is the selection platform for referees to be selected to officiate in the Ghana Premier League, Division One League and the Women’s Premier League.
Over one hundred and fifty referees from Ashanti, Brong-Ahafo, Upper East, Upper West Regions and Northern Regions are currently in Tamale to participate in the annual fitness test exercise ahead of the new season.
