Ghanaian international midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu has joined in on the outpouring of tributes to the late owner of former Ghana Premier league side Berekum Arsenal, Alhaji Yakubu Moro.
The veteran football administrator passed on in the early hours of Friday October 16, after he failed to fully recover from a health condition.
Yakubu Moro was one of the longest serving football administrators in Ghana who duly paid their dues as regards the running of the game in the country.
His passion for the game was unmatched as he singlehandedly run the Berekum Arsenal outfit ever since their promotion to the top flight in 2000 until their demotion in 2013.
Several prominent players have passed under him including John Pantsil and Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu. The latter in an interview with Kumasi-based Silver FM shared some of the memories he has of the departed football honcho.
