Asante Kotoko new recruit Emmanuel Keyekeh has promised to deliver his best on the pitch to help return the club to the apex of football on the domestic front and also on the continent.
The former Karela United midfielder joined the Porcupine Warriors in a high profile move during the current transfer window. He joins as part of a rebuild project by the club under the new Nana Yaw Amponsah led management.
Keyekeh’s profile has been enhanced following the Kotoko move after he distinguished himself while at Nzema based Karela United.
Speaking for he first time as a Kotoko player, the Kete-Krachie born player who sees himself a fighter is promising to give his best to help the club achieve its set objectives while not also despising his humble beginnings.
“I am always a fighter, I started from nowhere. And I don’t see myself stopping now, I give out a 100% minimum,” he told the club’s Youtube channel.
On how well he has integrated into the playing body and bonded with his teammates, this is what Keyekeh said.
“I have been bonding with my mates very very well. Its as if I have been here for a long while and I can say so far so good,” he noted.
The player has also revealed how he ended up at Kotoko especially how it all started.
“The call came through my manager that they want my services, Who says no to Asante Kotoko,” he asked.
Keyekh is expected to help bolster Coach Maxwell Konadu’s midfield ahead of the new season when Kotoko competes in the CAF Champions League as well as the local league and cup competitions.
