Former Ghana international Mohammed Polo has ruled himself out in contention for the vacant Accra Hearts Of Oak assistant Coach postion.
According to the 1978 Africa Cup of Nations winner, he is above the vacant assistant position at the club.
The Rainbow Family since appointing Coach Edward Nii Odoom as their first team coach has been without a supporting trainer.
Odoom was honored the technical position in the just suspended 2019-2020 Ghana Premier League, working without a lieutenant.
Speaking on Kumasi based radio station Ashh FM, the former Accra Hearts Of Oak player and gaffer said,
“I really love Accra Hearts Of Oak as a club and for that matter as my former club”
‘But, am above assistance coach and I can’t be the assistant coach to coach Odum at hearts Of Oak”
” So they should think of another person for the vacant position”
Meanwhile board member of the Club Frank Nelson has assured the fans of the club that new assistant will be appointed before the start of the Ghana Premier League on November 13.
