Jordan Ayew says it’s honor to be named the Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG) footballer of the year.
The 28 year old saw off competition from Mubarak Wakaso and Thomas Partey to clinch the award.
GFA President Kurt ES Okraku handed the Award to Jordan at the Black Stars camp in Antalya, Turkey.
“Thank you to @SWAG_Ghana ! I’m honoured and grateful to receive the SWAG Foreign Footballer of the Year Award 🙏🏽🙏🏽🇬🇭🇬🇭 #Ghana #cpfc” the Black Stars ace tweeted.
Ayew enjoyed a remarkable 2019/20 campaign with Crystal Palace in the English Premier League.
He finished the season as The Eagles’ top scorer, having notched nine goals in 32 appearances.
