Board Member of Accra Hearts Of Oak, Frank Nelson has stated that his outfit is working around the clock in getting an assistant coach before the start of the Ghana Premier league.
The Rainbow Family since appointing Coach Edward Nii Odoom as their first team coach has been without a supporting trainer.
Odoom was honored the technical position in the just suspended 2019-2020 Ghana Premier League, working without a lieutenant.
According to Frank the club will appoint a deputy trainer for Coach Odoom before the start of the premier league.
Speaking on Kumasi based Radio station Sikka FM, he said,
“We are yet to hire an assistant coach because there are no football activities.
“You may have not heard of the work we are doing to get an assistant coach for the club to help head coach Edward Odoom.
“We are working on getting an assistant coach before football activities resume,” he said.
The Ghana Premier League new season is set to kick off on November 13.
