A vibrant group of Asante Kotoko SC known as the ‘Kum Apem Group’ have purchased a ball launcher; a training equipment for the club.
The ball launcher is purposely meant to train goalkeepers although it can have several other uses.
Per FMIG checks, the Kum Apem Group have secured this for the club at a total cost of nearly GHS 16,000. The group known for their philanthropic works are keen to push the club to the highest heights as they prepare for the upcoming 2020-21 football season.
The ball launcher machine arrived in the country few weeks ago and has been cleared and delivered to Kumasi pending an official presentation tomorrow at Kotoko’s Adako Jachie training facility.
The latest move by the ‘Kum Apem group’ follows a line of other timely philanthropic works including donatiosn to ailing former players whose financial situations had worsened.
In the last 4-5 months, the ‘Kum Apem Group’ have made donations and emabraked on other Kotoko inspired initiatives spending not less than GHS 60,000.
Asante Kotoko’s receipt of the ball launcher has come at the right time, when Maxwell Konadu’s side ready themselves for the new domestic campaign as well as their African adventure.
