Asante Kotoko have unilaterally terminated their sponsorship agreement with Club Consult Africa with immediate effect, a statement issued by the club on Wednesday has confirmed.

There have been lingering issues between the club and the aforementioned company with concerns raised about the quality of the strike kits and some terms of the agreement.

Preliminary talks have been held between the club and Club Consult Africa and the club’s stance has remained unchanged in their bid to cut short the deal which was penned in 2019.

FMIG reported the decision to terminate the deal months ago and now the final decision has been taken.

In the statement signed by Kotoko CEO, Nana Yaw Amponsah, the club has assured all its stakeholders that they are working on securing a befitting kits sponsor in the days ahead.
