The Gunners are ready to activate his €50M release clause tonight and have sent representatives to the La Liga headquarters to deposit the transfer fee.

The Ghanaian international has already completed his medicals and is waiting for La Liga to sanction the move before putting pen to paper on a four-year contract at the Emirates stadium.

Partey’s arrival will be a major boost to Mikel Arteta, who has been desperate to add to his midfield options.
