Veteran sports writer and broadcaster Kwabena Yeboah has boldly predicted that former Hearts midfielder Laryea Kingston will soon become the head coach of the Ghana national team, the Black Star.
Kwabena Yeboah couldn’t hold his admiration for the upward spiral of the coaching career of the young trainer hence his prediction.
The former Hearts of Midlothian midfielder was up with his tactical and game organization analysis on GTV Sports+ during a German Bundesliga clash between RB Leipzig and Schalke 04.
Laryea who was a pundit on the game with footbaladeinghana.com editor Sheikh Tophic Sienu with Kwabena Yeboah as the host, was apt with his analysis to the admiration of The Writer (as Kwabena Yeboah is affectionately called), hence the prediction.
“I made a hold prediction on this same channel that CK Akonnor was going to coach the national team and he’s now the coach of the national team,” Kwabena Yeboah said.
“If you (Laryea Kingston) go on this tangent, I predict that you will be the coach of the national team in future,” Kwabena Yeboah told the young coach on the show.
Laryea who recently returned from Denmark on a coaching attachment at Nordjaelland is aiming at rising to the top to become a big manager in his career.
Laryea whose playing career saw him have stints with Accra Hearts of Oak and Accra Great Olympics is currently the head coach of Kingstep FC, a juvenile club in Ghana.
He has so far had coaching stints with Right To Dream Academy, leading them to lift the J-League International Youth Cup with their U17 side.
