Ghana U20 manager Abdul Karim Zito has called on the Ghana Football Association to create a convenient avenue for all national team coaches to explain and defend call ups into the various national teams.

The experienced trainer’s comment comes after various agitations from football loving fans questioning the criteria used into player call ups in our various national teams in the country.

Speaking on JLife 95.5 FM , Coach Zito made it clear that the country’s football governing body should mount a platform for every  national team coach to defend and explain what goes into the call up.

He went on to state that the platform will help the country a lot for the betterment of our football.

“The FA have to organize press conference for all the national team coaches for us to explain and defend call up of players to the various national team.

“This will go along way to help the country especially our football,” he explained.

Zito will in the coming days announce his final 30 man squad for the upcoming African U20 WAFU Championship.
