Legon Cities have confirmed their players have undergone Covid-19 test ahead of the start of their Pre-season.
The club will kick start their pre-season training Monday hence the need to test the players and the technical team to ensure they are in the best condition for the task ahead.
Premier League and Division One clubs have been granted the permission to start training following government’s decision to ease restrictions on contact sports.
“Earlier today, players and members of the Technical Team underwent the Mandatory testing for COVID-19 at the Acacia Medical Center,East Legon. This is to ensure they are in best of conditions health-wise as part of the pre-season program,” the club tweeted.
Ghana football was suspended indefinitely in March due to the coronavirus pandemic, forcing the FA to cancel the 2019-2020 season.
The Ghana Premeir League has been scheduled to start on Friday November 13.
