Ghana midfielder dynamo Afriyie Acquah has been named as the deputy skipper at Turkish side Yeni Malatyaspor.
The 28-year old Ghanaian international has been handed the new role at Yeni Malatyaspor due to his spectacular leadership qualities at the club.
He joined Yeni Malatyaspor as a free agent last season after ending his spell at Italian Serie A outfit Empoli.
He has been incredible at the midfield of the Turkish club since joining hence his new appointment.
Afriyie Acquah capped 27 matches last season for Yeni Malatyaspor, scoring a goal.
