The Ghana football family was hit with the sad news of the death of 6 juvenile footballers between the ages of 12 and 15 in a gory accident on the Kumasi-Offinso road.
The accident occured on the Ofgin River on Saturday evening.
8 players have been confirmed dead so far. (6 died at the spot and 2 have died at the hospital)
According to reports, the club, Africa Vision Soccer Academy came to Afrancho to do the registration for the District Juvenile League and we’re returning to Offinso.

Eye witnesses say the driver blasted a front tire on the Offin Bridge and veered off into the Offin River. A rescue team intervened and was able to save some of the boys.
