Asante Kotoko have appointed Akua Pokuaa Kwarteng Esq. as the club’s new Head of Legal (Domestic).
A lawyer in good standing atthe General Legal Council, Ghana, Akua Pokuaa Kwarteng is the Deputy Managibg Counsel of renowned Law Firm, Legal Ink.
She joins the new management team headed by Asante Kotoko Chief Executive Officer, Nana Yaw Amponsah.

Akua was called to the Ghana Bar in 2011. She holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and is the Deputy Managing Counsel in charge of the Kumasi office of Legal Ink.
She is also a member of the International Bar Association and Commonwealth Lawyers Association. She has extensive knowledge in Banking, Corporate Transactions and Civil litigation.
As the Deputy Managing Counsel at the Kumasi Office, she is the lead litigator on all recovery matters for banks and financial institutions in Kumasi.
She has advised on several investment and banking transactions including advising a local bank on how to structure its affairs to minimize corporate disputes, and tighten its credit approval processes.
She has experience in handling sports related matters as well. Akua was part of the 3-member Professor Aboagye Menye abitration committee that handled, an out of court settlement for the Ghana Athletics Association (GAA) in March 2019.
The committee was tasked to resolve the issue and pave way for the GAA congress to hold elections, after an Accra High Court directed that, the case should be settled out of their jurisdiction.
