Ghana striker John Antwi fired a quick-double to secure maximum points for Pyramids FC in their away encounter against Wadi Degla in the Egyptian premier league.
After the first half ended in a stalemate, Antwi put his side ahead in the 60th minute after been set up by Burkinabe midfielder Eric Traore.
The goal was Antwi’s 101st goal in the Egyptian top flight, concretizing his status as the top scoring foreigner in the league.
The former Dreams FC and Sekondi Eleven Wise goal poacher was in the mood of tormenting the opposition defense when he netted his second of the game from the spot in the 64th minute.
The win lifts Pyramids to third spot on the league table with 48 points and in the fray for CAF Confederation Cup qualification ahead of Arab Contractors.
