Wilfred Osei Kweku has accepted the verdict of the Court of Arbitration for Sports dismissing his appeal in respect to the decisions taken by the GFA’s Elections Committee on October 4 and October 8, 2019.
The Tema Youth bankroller was barred from contesting in the GFA Presidential elections after being found culpable of having integrity issues by the GFA’s Normalisation Committee.
Palmer subsequently took his petition to CAS after his disqualification, seeking to clear his name, and the declaration of last October’s elections as null and void.
CAS after several delays finally delivered the verdict today, dismissing all the claims of Palmer and confirming the decisions of the Elections Committee of the Normalization Committee.
Following the verdict, Palmer issued a statement on his social media page;
