Ghanaian defender Gideon Mensah has completed a loan move to Portuguese side Vitória Guimarães in the current transfer window.

Mensah signed a season loan deal with the club from RedBull Salzburg after passing his medical examination on Monday.

The Black Stars left back  spent last season on laon at Belgian top-flight side Waasland Beveren where he had a wonderful season.

He made 23 appearances in all competitions for Beveren having provided three assists in the process.

The 23-year old former WAFA defender becomes the second Ghanaian to join the club after Abdul Mumin also joined from Nordsjælland.
