Ghana midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang Badu has undergone an extensive medical examination at Hellas Verona as he prepares to join his teammates for training.
Badu is on a loan switch to the club from Udinese in August 2019 with an option to make his stay permanent at the end of the season.
Unfortunately for the veteran, he was hit with an illness that threatened his life prior to the start of the 2019/2020 Italian Serie A season.
The setback saw Agyemang Badu missing the entire first half of the campaign before he returned to action in the second half.
After what ended as an uneventful season, it looks like the midfielder is set to stay at Hellas Verona for the upcoming season.
He was at the Don Calabria for medical examinations today and has been thoroughly taken through various checks including testing for the Coronavirus disease.
Once his results come out good in the next few days, he will link up with his Hellas Verona teammates to train.
