Ghanaian International Rashid Sumaila has parted ways with Al Qadsia after his contract run out this month.
The centre back returns home today after refusing to sign a new deal with the Yellow and Black after six seasons.
The club thanked him for his service throughout his stay at the club.

“His commitment toward the club was met with respect with all fans of Qadsia.
“Rashid will always be in the heart of Qadsia fans and we wish him all the best in his future”
He has been fans favourite since joining the Kuwaiti champions over the past seasons.
Sumaila won three major titles at Qadsia SC despite spending sometime on loan at different clubs, with several top notch individual awards comprising the 2014/15 Kuwait Premier League Best Foreign player and Qadsia SC Best Player, 2015/16 Kuwait Premier League Best Defender.
