Solomon Asante has been named Man of the Match after his dazzling display as his side Phoenix Rising FC made might work of LA Galaxy II

Asante, netted a goal and registered two assists as Phoenix Rising posted a 4-1 win on Wednesday night.

The former TP Mazembe winger provided the assist for Santiago Moar to score Rising’s second goal in the first half, before doubling it by providing another for Jordan Schweitzer in the second.

Solomon Asante wrapped up what had been a productive day by netting in the 6th minute of added on time after the 90 minutes had elapsed.

With his goal, Asante became just the second player in the history of the USL Championship to notch at least 40 career goals and 30 career assists.

The Ghanaian has 4 goals and 5 assists in 7 appearances this season.
