Joseph Painstil scored a brace for Genk in their 9-0 triumph over Differdange 03 in a preseason friendly.
The 22 year old who has been transfer-listed by the Belgian giants put up one of his finest displays since joining the club from Hungarian side Ferencváros.
The Ghanaian midfielder struggled to break into the Genk first team throughout the 2019/20 season and is reportedly free to look for a new club.
Painstil took to his social media page after his man of the match performance and vowed to keep on fighting for his Cristal Arena future;
“Most of the important things in the world have been accomplished by people who have kept on trying when there seemed to be no hope at all.
I’m happy I scored 2 goals In our friendly game against Differdange.
